Today's card is for the Color Throwdown Challenge #308. What a fun color combination. This made me happy the minute I saw it. Bright happy colors that screamed make a fun card. So I did make a fun card.

I used the Amazing Birthday stamp set and Polka Dot embossing folder. I stamped the main image a couple different ways before I was happy with it. I tried using markers to stamp each different word but they just didn't look clean and nice. So I stamped the whole thing with Daffodil Delight. Then stamped it on a scrap piece of Whisper White in Melon Mambo. I cut the little oval and banner out and used dimensionals to give it some added interest. I didn't add any extra embellishments.
I used the 3/4" circle punch and made a mask for the polka dots. I then sponged Pumpkin Pie on all but the 2 polka dots under the saying. Be sure to make your mask big enough so you aren't sponging ink everywhere. Yup I say this because I did this. :)
