Simply Stampin' Lunch Bunch and Weekly Deals

Today I went to my upline +Sherron Karasek's stamping day with my downline members +Bobbie Hartsell  and Karen Ross.  Sherron has a Simply Stampin' Lunch Bunch in the morning and her downline gathering in the evening on the 4th Tuesday of the month.  I work Tuesday nights so I don't get to go to the downline gathering.  So we crash her Simply Stampin' Lunch Bunch each month.  The girls are a hoot and the lunch is always fantastic.  These are the 3 cards (of 5) I was able to finish today.  They are all so pretty.  Thank you Sherron for feeding us and having great projects for us to do.

Give Thanks for FMS155 & CCC14

This card is for two different challenges. Freshly Made Sketch 155 and the Creative Challenge Club 14.  I love the simple sketch for Freshly Made Sketches.  I finally purchased the scallop tag and this is the first card I have used it on.  I see this punch being used a lot more in my future.









I loved the color challenge for Creative Challenge Club.  I think I managed to fit all 5 colors on my card without making it look like it had too much going on.

I always stamp the darkest color first when making my own background paper.  It makes it easier to fill in with the lighter colors as I go.  This stamp set is perfect for making background paper.  These colors just go great together too I think.  I never really thought of pool party as a fall color but it really adds something to this color pallet.  I cut the burlap ribbon edge off for my embellishment.  The strip of Very Vanilla on the tag is 1 3/4" wide.  To make it so the holes in the tag actually lined up I used the circle punch on the Pool Party tag to make its hole bigger.

Sparkly Bright and Beautiful

I have been a bit busy the last few days.  I took some time from stamping to work on my other hobby/business crocheting.  I have some orders to fill and finished 2 of them.  If you are a Seahawks fan you will like these baby hats.  I am almost done with a Seahawks baby blanket too.

Silver Falls Camping and Hike!

My husband +Jeffery Gann  and I went camping with my sister and her family this last weekend at Silver Falls, Oregon.  We had a blast.  We did take most of our pictures on our hike of the falls.  We didn't do all 10 waterfalls but we made it to 7 of them.  +Michelle Musso's family didn't want to go for a hike since we did a really long bike ride the day before.  So here are some of the pictures from our beautiful day at the falls.

Fall Wreath for PPA219

I wish this challenge had come a couple weeks ago.  I had some good cards I made with these colors or very similar to these colors.  But when I put my mind to it I designed a whole new card for this challenge.  I still had left over cardstock cut from my open house so it was easy to decide which color cardstock would go where.  You can view my other card here.

For the background I used the direct to paper technique.  Meaning I swiped my stamp pad across the paper to get the design I wanted.

I bet you are wondering how I got the Give Thanks banner.  Well wonder no more!

The photopolymer stamps are so adjustable.  I just bent this one to the shape I wanted.  

Then I used 2 different sizes of the Circle Framelits Die.  Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of that part of the process.  I used the largest and then the second largest die.  My tip would be cut the smaller circle first, stamp the sentiment above the cut, and then cut the larger circle.
