Clark County Fair Entries!

I just made a trip down to the Clark County Fairgrounds in Vancouver, Wa.  It is about a 40 mile trip one way.  I had entered several items in the fair this year.  I went down today to pick up my entries, ribbons and checks.  I took some pictures of my entries with the ribbon they received.  I am so excited with how well I did.  I entered a lot of crochet items too.  But I just thought I would show the scrapbooks, cards and photos.

Work of Art picnic

I made this card to look like a picnic blanket with flowers scattered on it.  I used Work of Art, Mixed Bunch, Petite Petals and A Dozen Thoughts.

My Digital Studio hybrid swap card

I joined a swap at Inspire. Create. Share. 2014 that had a tropical theme.  I thought the little birds from Wetlands would be perfect for a beachy card.  Then I found the umbrella in the Boardwalk download for My Digital Studio.  I just added different colors to the umbrella, printed it, cut it and added dimensionals.  I used the 1 3/8" circle punch for a mask to make the sun.  I also added Dazzling Details at the edge of the surf for a little more interest.  The sky, sun, water and sand were all sponged using stamping sponges.

Disneyland 2013
